Ani Adoni Rofecha

"I am God, Your Physician." The word "Iyar" is an acrostic of this phrase.

Ani l'Dodi v'Dodi Li

"I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine." A phrase from the "Song of Songs." The word "Elul" is an acrostic of this phrase.

Elul

The sixth month of the Jewish calendar.

Iyar

The second month of the Jewish calendar.

Rosh Hashanah

"Head of the Year." The Jewish New Year. Celebrated on the first day of Tishri. The holiday initiates a period of soul-searching and reflection that culminates on Yom Kippur.

Tishri

The seventh month of the Jewish calendar.

Yom Kippur

"Day of Atonement." A solemn day of fasting and prayer concluding ten days of penitence that began on Rosh Hashanah.
