Hello
WOW! Is this for real... I thought the psalms were song only in my head.... I am a Christian who is moving into and finding and longing for exposure and involvement in this wonderful worship form! Hallelujah!
I would appreciate everyone's prayers for her to help her find the strength to cope with this illness and for me as well, so I can be a good friend to her.
I have used Debbie Perlman's psalms on so many occasions: for healing services at my Temple, for my own need for healing, to share with friends, at a Passover seder, etc. The power of prayer, when we don't ask for what We want, but when we ask for what God wants for us, can be so strong.I continue to pray to understand what God wants from me.
Thanks!

Thank you for your kind words and for the message that my psalms have been helpful to you. Please let us know your friend's name so that all of us can remember her in our prayers.
All the best, Debbie

I am writing an MA dissertation on modern "psalms" especially those from a background of commitment to peace, justice and integrity of creation.
I just found your site on Yahoo's browser.
Debbie, are your psalms linked to the psalm of the same number in the Hebrew Scriptures, or are they independent?
Shalom
Barbara
